Committee on Audit

Committee Mission

To oversee the annual audit of the year-end financial statements of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). 

Committee Charges

  • To review the audited financial statements of SNMMI with management and the audit firm (either by conference call or in person) on an annual basis and to present the audited financial statements to the Board of Directors. 
  • The Committee’s Chairperson is to meet with the audit firm prior to the beginning of audit fieldwork (either by conference call or in person) to discuss auditor independence, audit planning considerations, responsibilities of management and auditor, and timing and scope of the audit. 
  • To meet with the audit firm and management prior to the issuance of the audited financial statements (either by conference call or in person) to review the results of the audit and the auditors’ required communications.
