Committee on Continuing Education

Committee Mission

The Continuing Education Committee reviews and monitors all continuing education activities (Live Meetings and Enduring Content) that are sponsored or jointly-sponsored by the SNMMI for physicians, pharmacists and scientists, and ensures the activities satisfy the educational mission of the SNMMI and meet accreditation criteria for the relevant accrediting organizations (ACCME, ACPE, CAMPEP, and ABNM). 

Committee Charges

  • Review and monitor continuing education activities sponsored/jointly-sponsored by SNMMI to ensure they are in compliance with the Accreditation Criteria, Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education and Policies the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education of the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), and the Standards for Accreditation of the Commission on the Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Program (CAMPEP).
