Committee on Guidance Document Oversight

Committee Mission

Oversee the development and maintenance of SNMMI Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC).

Committee Goals

  • Create an Appropriate Use Criteria Document for Parathyroid Scintigraphy 
  • Create an Appropriate Use Criteria Document for Fluoroethyl-l-tyrosine (FET) PET Imaging 
  • Collaborate with Marketing to highlight new and existing AUCs  
  • Monitor and prepare for the ROOT Act in the event it is passed 
  • Continue to update current AUCs per guidelines
