Committee on History

Committee Mission

Oversee the preservation of the documentary and oral history of the field of nuclear medicine and the SNMMI. 

Committee Charges

  • Complete development of timeline of NM & SNMMI historical events on the SNMMI website. 
  • Establish standard procedures for ways to appropriately and equitably recognize luminaries in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. 
  • Create yearly educational offerings on historical anniversaries.
