Committee on Quality, Evidence, and Patient Safety

Committee Mission

Ensure that the members of SNMMI provide high quality care to their patients during examinations and treatments they perform.

Committee Goals

  • Develop educational materials to promote patient safety and continuous process improvement. 
  • Collaborate with the Committee on Community Based Practice to develop resources specific to community-based practice and rural centers.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, such as CMS, on quality of practice related issues.
  • Review all NCCN guidelines in which nuclear medicine plays a role and submit comments to add any missing imaging or therapies.
