Clinical Members – Physician
Individuals who are actively engaged in clinical decision-making, research, and/or therapeutic development. These individuals are primarily responsible for directing care, conducting original research, and shaping medical and scientific advancements at the highest level.
Scientific Members – Scientist / Physicist / Pharmacist
Advanced Practice Provider (e.g., Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurse, Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate, Radiology Assistants)
Licensed or certified professionals, who serve as physician extenders, and support clinical and research work and contribute significantly to the delivery of care or scientific advancement.
Technologist (e.g., Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Radiologic Technologists, Laboratory Technologists)
Licensed or certified technologists specialized in administering radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic imaging and/or therapeutic purposes OR Scientific Laboratory Professionals working in nuclear medicine or molecular imaging.
Affiliate (e.g., administrators, industry partners, consultants, allied professionals)
Individuals whose work supports or complements the field of nuclear medicine, molecular imaging or theranostics, but do not practice clinically, conduct independent research or qualify for one of the other membership categories.
In-Training (e.g., medical students, residents, fellows, graduate students, postdocs, technologist students, nursing students, etc.)
Students and trainees currently enrolled in an educational or training program relevant to medicine, science or healthcare. This category is open to students pursuing careers in nuclear medicine as well as high school or undergraduate students with a demonstrated interest in medicine, imaging, or healthcare careers. Membership in this category allows for entry into the in-transition category upon completion of the in-training membership.
