ATAWM SNMMI-TS Student Annual Meeting Travel Scholarship
ATAWM (Associate and Technical Affiliates of Western Michigan) is a small, West Michigan–based nonprofit organization comprised of six members who have dedicated themselves to the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. United by a shared passion for this rapidly advancing specialty, ATAWM focuses on education and advocacy.
Through scholarships, mentorship, and engagement opportunities, ATAWM seeks to support and inspire emerging and passionate professionals, help them build strong professional foundations, and encourage meaningful contributions to the field and to society. This scholarship supports nuclear medicine and molecular imaging student technologists to attend the SNMMI Annual Meeting for education, networking, and professional development.
The goal of this scholarship is to identify emerging professionals with curiosity, drive, and a willingness to advance the field.
In addition to attending the SNMMI Annual Meeting, this scholarship will allow the recipient to attend the SNMMI-TS Emerging Technologist Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy will be a full-day program on Thursday, May 28, 2026, starting at 8:00 am in Los Angeles, CA (held in conjunction with the SNMMI Annual Meeting) that will focus on setting a clear plan to develop the necessary leadership skills as a rising leader in the SNMMI-TS.
As part of your acceptance, you will receive complimentary registration to attend the SNMMI Annual Meeting. Furthermore, SNMMI-TS will be providing breakfast and lunch during the Emerging Technologist Leadership Academy. The SNMMI-TS will cover airfare (if booked through SNMMI’s travel agency) and 2 nights hotel.
You will also be recognized at the SNMMI-TS Business and Awards Session, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, where you will receive a certificate and a check for $2,000 to cover additional travel expenses for the SNMMI-TS Annual Meeting.
