Today, we can prolong the lives of cancer patients with radiopharmaceutical therapies. Tomorrow, we may be able to eradicate cancer entirely. Our grant recipients are at the forefront of research, ultimately benefiting the patients we serve. We have several different ways you can help fund nuclear medicine's future. 

Ways to Give

Individuals

The Mars Shot Research Fund is funded by donors like you. 100% of these gifts directly fund the grants that determine the future of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. Because of this undeniable need our donors fill, we also like to recognize their generous donations by awarding different benefits to specific donor levels.

Annual Giving

Your donations to the Mars Shot Research Fund are tax deductible and gifts of $300 or more give you access to the Donor Lounge during the SNMMI Annual Meeting. Annual donations support Mars Shot grants that work to improve patient care through the advancement of research, education and practice.

Making a Gift of Securities

Mars Shot donors may facilitate the transfer of funds or securities directly to the Mars Shot. In order to transfer funds, the institution may either transfer the money directly to the Mars Shot or mail a check or securities certificate.

The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging is recognized as 501 (c)(3) charitable organizations by the IRS. Our tax ID is 36-2496678. Your donation is tax deductible as per current IRS regulations. All gifts to the “SNMMI Mars Shot” will be recognized by SNMMI. Recognition opportunities will vary according to the level of support and the donor’s wishes.
