Committee Mission

The SNMMI Healthcare Administrators Outreach Working Group will focus on increasing awareness among healthcare administrators and executives about the value nuclear medicine imaging and therapy brings to their institutions and the patients they serve. 

Committee Charge

• Promote the value of nuclear medicine departments to the overall strength of a hospital or healthcare institution, both financially and as a full-service medical provider in the community. 
• Develop and provide solid data supporting the opportunities nuclear medicine presents within the healthcare institution and its contribution to the institution’s financial stability and enhanced community relations 
• Provide a framework for expanding nuclear medicine capabilities to meet the projected growth in imaging and therapy procedures
