Committee Mission
The Patient Advocacy Advisory Board provides the patient perspective to the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging; advises the Society on the development of educational programs and materials to advance patients’ understanding and knowledge of the role of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging; and advises the Society on public policies that impact patient access to these procedures.
Committee Charges
- Increasing the patient awareness of the role of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensuring the patient voice is represented in SNMMl's activities and advocacy efforts.
