Committee Mission
To provide education and outreach to medical students about nuclear medicine as a specialty, including job descriptions of nuclear medicine physicians in different settings, like private practice and academia.
Committee Charges
- Create and disseminate educational content, such as infographics and social media posts, to enhance understanding of nuclear medicine in undergraduate medical education.
- Arrange for nuclear medicine professionals to share their career experiences, work-life balance, and perspectives on the field's future via podcast (scheduled for recording in June 2025 and dissemination in August 2025).
- Educate students about opportunities for medical students to attend and present at SNMMI events, enhancing their understanding and involvement in nuclear medicine – creating list of all medical students.
