Overview
This award will be created in memory of Arthur Weis, JD, PhD, Founder and Chair of the board of Capintec, Inc., and a pioneer in the development of nuclear medicine, Dr. Weis recently passed away. Capintec has been a global consultant and supplier of nuclear medical equipment and systems for almost half a century. In 2008, Weis received the SNMMI Presidential Distinguished Service Award in recognition of continual dedication to the Society.
